All International shipping will be without exception via USPS international priority mail. Insurance is included in the cost. I do not participate in fraudulent schemes so please do not ask me to mark your item as 'gift' so you can avoid paying whatever additional fees your country may impose. DOMESTIC SHIPPING/INSURANCE INFO
Domestic shipping for items 4lbs or less will be via priority mail with exception of items 13oz or less which may be sent via 1st class mail (see listing). Heavy or bulky items may, at the discretion of PHV, be mailed via parcel post. Insurance is included on certain designer items and mandatory for drop ships (items sent to your name at any other address other than what is pre-printed in paypal). I must be notified at the time of bidding if you plan to drop ship. In all other cases, insurance is optional. If you fail to purchase it, you are agreeing to release parkerhawn vintage from any and all financial responsibility to you in any type of dispute requesting reimbursement brought about from a USPS error (damaged, lost, delayed).
S&H FEES/DELIVERY INFO
As you are placing your bid on what you believe the item is worth to you, the final bid amount does not cover my time or overhead. Thus the S&H cost below (domestic & international) includes a small handling fee to cover my time to source, list & ship the item and a delivery confirmation fee which allows you to access the status of your item by clicking the shipping tab next to the transaction details in your paypal account or entering the number on the USPS website. That said - please note that these fees are non-refundable and non-negotiable.
Items will more than likely be shipped out within 3 business days of payment. Please remember that delivery time is slower during peak holiday times. It's always best to check your delivery confirmation status first before emailing me regading delivery questions. If for some reason the item is returned to us, We will email you as such and it will then be YOUR responsibility to re-issue the s&h fees for us to re-package and re-ship the item back to you. Failure to do so within 2 weeks of email notification of return will automatically constitute your forefiture of the item and all financial costs associated with the transaction.
Please remember the items you are bidding on are 20+ years old. Minor imperfections are a standard expectation in some vintage items as they've been around the block a few times worn by someone else. Major flaws will be noted but as my sight is quickly waning with age, if I miss a few small ones, give a gal the benefit of the doubt and email me BEFORE you go postal in your feedback. Also note that between my camera flash (or lack thereof) and varying monitors, shades and coloring may appear differently. Lastly - as everyone seems to have their own definintion of what constitutes excellent, good and very good - here are the guidelines that I base my item conditions with:

Deadstock with or without tags.
Item is so pristine people will think you raided the designer's archives
or hitched a ride on time machine to pulled it off the rack at B. Altman & Co.
Excellent
Appears pre-owned & gently worn but with no readily apparent signifigantly major flaws to the naked eye. Definitely a top runner for that heirloom piece to pass down to your daughter.
Very Good
Standard wear for its age such as natural distressed denim, scuffs/nicks on shoes, or faint shadow stains on the fabric or accessory. Minor flaws such as these don't distract from the overall wearability of the item. You'll still get flooded with compliments!
Good
Item that has noticeable signs of living the "Good Life".
Days in the sun (color fading), nights on the town (stains larger than a penny) & shakin' that booty till they pull you off the dance floor (loose seams, small holes or fabric snags). In other words - probably not a candidate for the persnickety shopper. Lots of stylin left in it for the rest of us common folk though :) Such flaws are either repairable or wearable as purchased.
RETURNS / REFUNDS
All items are sold as-is. There are no returns unless the item has been grossly misrepresented beyond the condition definitions as listed above. If that is the case we offer MERCHANDISE CREDIT ONLY - no cash refunds at all. We are p-r-e-t-t-y meticulous when making condition judgements on our items so I'm talking it has got to be an overtly colossal misrepresentation. Minor imperfections do not constitute a gross misrepresentation and are therefore invalid for a refund. All that being said - If a return is granted - a RA# number will be given which must be written on the outside of the package. Failure to do so will void the return. Item must be postmarked for return no later than 3 days from the USPS delivery confimation date. Failure to do so will void the return. For international returns, item must be postmarked within 2 days of receiving your RA#. Failure to do so will void the return. Shipment must be in the same method as originally shipped to you + delivery confirmation. Insurance is mandatory for international returns. Failure to ship item in this manner will void the return. I will need to be emailed the delivery confimation or insurance number the same day the item is actually mailed as proof the item was shipped out on time. Failure to do so will void the return. The parcel date will be checked upon reciept and photographed before opening. If any part of this procedure and ship method is not followed, the item will be marked 'refused - return to sender' and sent back to you.
